Baptism: Tina Mackenzie

Tina shares a powerful story of transformation. Before coming to Christ, her life was marked by broken relationships, childhood trauma, abuse, and a long struggle with depression and addiction. She lost custody of her children and became entangled in the legal system, feeling trapped in a cycle of guilt, shame, and self-destruction.

While in rehab, she began meeting regularly with a pastor and started to recognize that her suffering wasn’t caused by God, but by life circumstances and her own choices. A pivotal moment came in July 2024, when she experienced a supernatural encounter—a dark presence leaving her room—which she interpreted as a spiritual release. In that moment, she surrendered fully to God, asking for forgiveness and inviting Christ into her heart.

Since that day, her life has changed dramatically. Tina now experiences peace, joy, and stability in her sobriety. While some days are still challenging, her faith keeps her grounded. She prays, sings to Jesus, and remains committed to her walk with God.

She chose to be baptized to publicly declare that Jesus died for her sins and that she is now living a new life through Him.
