Baptism: Franca Warren
As a young child, Franca found herself in a place where her relationships with her parents were tested and she felt like she was forced to grow up at a young age, taking away some of the opportunity for her to work through the challenges of her childhood.
Feelings of abandonment led to trust issues and emotional instability in her relationships as an adult, leading her to believe that she was unworthy and undeserving of happiness.
When Franca started navigating through her infertility journey, she found herself moving closer to God. Her infertility journey caused her to question her identity, her sense of purpose, and at times has put strain on relationships in her life. Franca found herself begging God to show her that everything would be okay.
One day, upon waking up, she felt this huge weight lifted off her shoulders and knew that it was God putting his hands on her, reminding her that she was going to be okay, she was worthy, and some good things take time.
Throughout her journey, she has questioned her relationship with The Lord many times, but she knows that God prevails. He has held people on a similar journey, and he will keep his promise to her as well.
Franca continues to find peace in knowing that "God is the writer of her story and He has a perfect plan for every one of us as long as we continue to have faith in Him and trust His timing."
Baptism is a commitment for Franca to commit herself to Jesus Christ. When the path gets dark, she knows that she will make it to the other side because of Him and the strength that he has given her.
