1. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

DISCUSSION (ask one student to briefly recap the message) 

1. When you hear the word rest, what do you initially think of?

2. How has your perspective of rest changed after today’s talk?

DIG DEEPER

1. Read Matthew 11:28-30. 

   1. What do you think hinders us from resting?

   2. What might this show us about how we view Him?

APPLICATION

1. Plan to rest:

   1. Make a list of things that bring you “soul filling joy”:

      1. Choose one thing on that list. How does it point you to God’s goodness?

      2. Pick a time this week you can unplug (turn your devices off!) and do a few of those things you listed.
