SURGE is our annual one-day young adult conference—a day filled with dynamic speakers, amazing worship, and some quality fellowship time. If you're a young adult looking to grow in your faith, this event is not to be missed!

But if we’re honest… It’s not really working, is it?
Even when we reach what we’ve been chasing, something still feels empty.
So we keep trying to generate life within ourselves, or find it in places that leave us drier.
But Jesus offers a different invitation:
To abide. To remain. To stay connected to the true source of life.
And from that connection, life begins to bear real fruit—for the glory of God and the good of others.

Schedule

  • Doors open at 9:00 AM. Meet up with your friends early, enjoy some coffee, and find your seats after you check in. The program will start at 10:00 AM.

  • Worship & our first speaker of the day.

  • Break into small groups to discuss session 1.

  • Enjoy a catered Chick-Fil-A lunch including Chick-n-Minis and a Fruit & Yogurt Bar.

  • Break into small groups to discuss session 2.

  • Grab some friends and enjoy a BBQ dinner consisting of pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, salt potatoes, mac salad, and of course cornbread!

  • Session 3 is open to everyone even if you don’t fall into the “Young Adult” category. If you are not a young adult coming for only session 3 you do not have to register for the event. Simply show up and worship.

  • SURGE is specifically and exclusively for those that are 18-30’s who identify as a young adult. We believe that young adults are the movers and shakers of our world and they deserve more than a pizza party once every few months. SURGE is meant to be an encouraging, inspiring, equipping and challenging one day conference for those who call themselves followers of Jesus — no matter the cost. We are raising the bar on young adults as we join the swell and stirring of a movement that’s bigger than any one person could accomplish. We want YOU to join the SURGE.

  • Yes! We'll be providing lunch and dinner. And did I hear a free coffee bar to start the morning off right?!

    For lunch we’ll have Chick-Fil-A Chick-n-Minis with a Fruit & Yogurt Bar. As for dinner we’ll have BBQ consisting of pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, salt potatoes, mac salad, and of course cornbread!

    In case you have a special dietary need, no worries! There will be enough time between our sessions, along with several food options near the campus, if you’d like to grab something that best fits your needs.

  • Yes! We love our D/HoH fam and want you to join us! When you register, there will be an option to select ASL Interpretation for your conference experience. If you have any specific concerns regarding access, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • Yes, you can! In fact, we ask that you DO cancel your ticket if you will no longer be in attendance to give us the most accurate number possible. This helps us to better plan and accommodate our spaces with everyone in mind!

  • No worries, you won't have to completely miss out on this year's conference. We invite anyone and everyone to attend our final session and worship. This final session will be at 7:00!

  • No childcare will be available.

  • There will be plenty of parking on site so no need to fret! No parallel parking, feeding the meter, or switching sides of the street mid-way through the day!

  • This event will not be live streamed — so make sure to reserve your spot and get your tickets!
