Baptism: Chris Eldridge
Chris believed in God from a young age, but he never felt that he had developed a relationship with God. He’d focused on building good morals and making good decisions in life, but he had also been turning to sinful things to try and find happiness. Some of these decisions and actions led him to spiral into a dark place. He struggled to talk to anyone about his sinful actions because he was ashamed of his behaviors, and it was just easier not to talk about them.
Baptism: Ace Maurice
When Ace was younger, she started going to church with her dad after her parents divorced. However, as bad things happened with her dad, she eventually fell out of it because she saw her dad as what a Christian was and didn’t want any part in that.
Baptism: Danielle Marcello
Danielle didn’t start out going to church, but later her family started bringing her. After a few years, she stopped. At that point in her life, she knew she was not making good choices and sinning. She was suffering and going through a lot. Danielle didn’t know if she believed in God at this point. A couple of times, she felt like she didn’t even want to be here.
Baptism: Henry Yaeger
Before Christ, Henry’s life was consumed with a lot of fear and social anxiety. He was born with a birth defect. Doctors operated and accidentally caused more damage to his vocal chord, causing his voice to sound a lot different. From that point on, Henry would have anxiety when interacting with people because he was embarrassed by the way his voice sounded.
Baptism: Melissa Aponte
Melissa was a strict follower of the Catholic faith growing up, going through her first communion, confirmation, and all the things you do as a follower of the Catholic faith. But prayer and personal connection with God were missing from her life because she always believed that she needed a priest to be the mediator.
