Thursday-Failure

In Matthew 26, one of the most important nights in history, the people closest to Jesus failed him one by one. Judas betrayed him. Peter denied him. The disciples fell asleep when he needed them most. Then every last one of them ran. And yet — Jesus walked willingly into his arrest. We all fail Jesus, but he doesn't fail us. The cross is not the story of humanity's worst moment; it's the story of God rescuing us from our failures.
