Deliverer Delivered

The Israelites had endured 430 years of bondage when God began quietly setting His deliverance in motion. Long before Moses appeared on the scene, two ordinary midwives — Shiphrah and Puah — chose to fear God over Pharaoh, and a desperate mother placed her infant in a basket on the Nile. None of them knew what their small acts of faith would set in motion. God's timing is not our timing. Faith is trusting God today, even when you can't see how it will impact tomorrow.
