Q&A with Adam
What was your first job?
I worked at Wegmans for 7 years. I learned a lot there but most importantly I learned to be a small part of a team. It was a great place to work, #3 on the list of best places to work this year. Now I work at #1 on the list Northridge Church!
Where did you grow up?
I grew up right here in Rochester. Greece to be exact. I've lived here my entire life.
What is your favorite movie?
Meet the Robinsons. I know, I know, I'm too old to have a cartoon movie be my favorite, but it is. I love the story of adoption and how it reminds me of God bringing me into His family. I also love the themes of taking responsibility for your attitude no matter what your circumstances and that the best way to learn is through failures. Plus there is a character that is very similar to myself. A potential adoptive dad who loves sports and has an allergy to peanuts.
What's one thing you love about Rochester?
GARBAGE PLATES! If you've never had one make it a priority. It's not just a dinner it's an experience!
What is your family like?
I have a beautiful godly wife, Jennifer. She is my biggest fan and my best friend. We have been blessed with three children, Isaac (2007), Addison (2009) and Joshua (2011). God has given us a great love for one another and a huge desire to be together as much as we can.
What do you love most about your job?
I've been a part of some good teams at previous jobs. What sets Northridge apart is now I'm part of a GREAT team working for a GREAT purpose, the Gospel!
What is a favorite passage of Scripture?
2 Corinthians 5:9 - "So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please Him." This verse sums me up or at least I'd like it to. Christ paid a penalty for me that I never could. I can never repay Him but the goal of my life is to please Him because of what He's done for me.
What inspires you?
Seeing God change peoples lives. It never gets old. I almost always cry. It always moves me. I love being a part of what God is doing in the lives of others and in my own life.
